Westendorf is situated on a sunny high plateau well away from traffic noise, at 800 m above sea level. Due to its optimal location, our village is the ideal starting point for your vacation. The imposing mountain world of the "Kitzbüheler Alpen" reaching up to 2.400 m together with the nature jewel "Windautal" offers an overwhelming hiking, mountain biking and recreation area. In the center of Westendorf you will also find numerous shopping opportunities, restaurants with sun terraces, cafes and bars. Various events ensure a successful change of pace.

In winter, Westendorf is ideally located, as it connects the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental and the ski area Kitzbühel I Kirchberg. 279km of perfectly prepared slopes from December to April. For snowboarders there also is the 'Boarders Playground'. In addition, there are many kilometers of prepared cross-country ski trails and numerous winter hiking trails, snowshoe hikes, tobogganing, torchlight hikes and much more.

Westendorf has a lot to offer in summer due to its optimal location in the Brixental Valley. The village invites you to go hiking and mountain biking, as well as to play tennis, horseback riding and golf. Numerous events offer an exciting change of scenery. For example, you can admire old handicrafts at our weekly village Schau Zuichi market or enjoy some of our great traditional festivals such as the Brixentaler Bergleuchten or the Almabtrieb.

There is a ski bus stop about 100m from the house. The gondola station Alpenrosenbahn is about 500m and the beginners ski practice area at Schneeberg/ski practice lift is 1km away. Directly at the house you can comfortably enter the cross-country ski trail.
